Adrianne PS Smith’s professional career has encompassed 9 year tour as a military medical officer in the US Air Force, academia, entrepreneurial activities and corporate management. While on active-duty Dr. Smith served both continental US and overseas assignments, with her last tour of duty as the Department Chief of Emergency Services and EMS Director for the 375th Medical Group, Scott AFB, IL. In academia, she practiced with the University Physician’s Group and was appointed Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and the Director Quality Assurance- Risk Management, Emergency Department, UTHSC-SA Texas. She served for 5 years as the Founding Medical Director for the Texas Diabetes Institute Department of Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care where she was recognized as the Physician of the Year-2004.
